Glanydon Holiday Cottage

Looking for a really special boutique style holiday home?

Glanydon has charm in bundles and is beautifully presented. This delightful one bed cottage has two wood burners, one in the lounge and one in the kitchen. There is WIFI, a lovely little terrace to the front and lots more. It is smoke free and has dedicated chopping boards for different foodstuffs so is ideal for guests with food allergies or those choosing to follow a plant-based diet.

We provide guests with simple continental style, plant based breakfasts; you will find all the essentials in the Cottage on your arrival. Please look at the ‘Food‘ page for details.

Corris

Glanydon holiday cottage is set in the little Welsh village of Corris, just a few miles north of Machynlleth. You can wake to the sound of the local robins, tits and finches and the water of the River Deri bubbling along to the side and then take in the stunning views of the mountains which surround the village.

Lounge

The cottage is tastefully furnished and decorated to a high standard. All the comforts of modern living are included (including WIFI); there is gas central heating, two wood burning stoves and double glazing throughout so you can be sure you’ll be cosy any time of year. It is a perfect retreat for singles or couples, with or without a young baby, looking for a peaceful and or romantic getaway.

Corris nestles in a valley surrounded by verdant mountains and countryside. This is in no small part due to the ‘shower of blessings’ which come our way! If you have been caught in a shower and your clothes are sodden don’t suffer in silence. Ceri is very happy to give them a quick wash in her washing machine and to get them dry again for you – no extra charge.

If you are thinking of bringing your ‘significant other’ for a special occasion (birthday, anniversary, to propose!) we are happy to get and leave in the cottage for example, chocolates, a birthday cake, flowers, bubbly for them. Speak to us if we can help in this way.

Sorry but we don’t accept dogs (or any other companion animals). Whilst some guests would like to bring their furry friends, others who have allergies need to know that they’re not going to spend their holiday sneezing. 🙁
